Synapse Audio DUNE is a powerful polyphonic compound that combines VA / Subtractive, Wavetable, and FM with a large-scale modulation system called Differential Contrast Engine (DUNE). The unique feature of DUNE 3 is the ability to collect a very large number of oscillator sounds, regardless of the tuning model used. With complete polyphony, up to 8,320 oscillators can be played simultaneously.
The device’s output goes through two high-quality effects series, containing EQ, Delay, Reverb, Distortion, Phaser, Chorus, and Compression, to further enhance the audio. The revised filter section of Dune 3 now contains a dual multi-mode filter in addition to an insertion effect. - Wavetable Editor: The new wavetable editor introduced in DUNE 3 is one of the most powerful editors out there. Wave shapes can be created with freehand drawings, clips, a dedicated partial editor, or by entering formulas. A variety of functions such as modulation, in / out fade, normalization, DC removal, and invert / reverse current make creating new wave tables easy.
